Tiffany joined the BHL in May 2021 as a Master’s student in Pharmaceutical Sciences to work on the role of NOX2 as a new drug target in Alzheimer’s disease to repair blood-brain barrier dysfunction. Tiffany successfully defended and will graduate with a dual PharmD/MS degree on May 3. Congratulations, Tiffany!

Hady presents at the Trainee Research Day
Hady presented a poster on anti-amyloid antibodies and their effects on blood-brain barrier integrity at the College of Medicine Trainee Research Day. This work represents a new and timely research direction in the lab that aligns with the development of novel disease-modifying antibody therapeutics for Alzheimer’s disease.
